Princeton Catalyst Blades and Wedges are crafted from flexible silicone to offer artists a new form of expression. The Wedges are ergonomically designed to fit in the hand, while the Blades are mounted on artist brush handles offering a blend of tradition and innovation. These tools are designed for use with heavy-bodied paints (oils and acrylics), yet the heat-resistant, FDA-approved silicone makes them ideal for encaustics and even food crafting.
Clean-up is easy as the silicone can wipe clean and is solvent resistant. Dried paint can be peeled off the silicone surface. Blades can even be separated from the wood handles for cleaning and easily replaced when dry.
