Silicone Blades and Wedges

Princeton Catalyst Blades and Wedges are crafted from flexible silicone to offer artists a new form of expression. Catalyst Wedges are ergonomically designed to fit in the hand, allowing a direct interaction with the work. Catalyst Blades are mounted on artist brush handles offering a blend of tradition and innovation.

Designed for use with heavy-bodied paints, Catalyst is great for oils, acrylics, and water-soluble oils. Because they are heat-resistant, they’re wonderful with encaustics - even plaster, clay, and frosting. Made of FDA-approved silicone, Catalyst Blades and Wedges are even great for food crafting.

Clean-up is easy as the silicone can wipe clean and is solvent resistant. Dried paint can be peeled off the silicone surface. Blades can even be separated from the wood handles for cleaning and easily replaced when dry.

Catalyst Wedges are available in No. 1 - 6.

Catalyst Blades are available in No. 1 - 6 in 15 mm., 30 mm., and 50 mm.
