Sales Tax - Applicable sales tax will be applied only to orders that have a shipping address in California.

Contiguous U.S. shipments and PO Boxes - All orders ship via UPS or FedEx. We ship within the contiguous U.S. only. We do not ship to PO Boxes - please include a physical street address when checking out.

Regulated Items - Some items are limited to domestic ground shipping only. Shipment by air is unavailable due to transport safety regulations. The notice This product is ORM-D Regulated appears on some item detail pages, like aerosols and painting mediums, and you will be alerted during checkout if you have any regulated items in your shopping cart. These products can ship by Standard Delivery only within the contiguous U.S. 

Heavy or Large Items - Due to their weight or size, some items will carry a fixed shipping charge that is excluded from the Free Shipping offer. This fee would be noted on the item page and in checkout.

Gifts - Our packing slips do not include the item prices.

After You Place Your Order:

Changes - Once your order is processed and you've received your email confirmation, we are unable to add, change or delete items.

Delivery - Your order may arrive in multiple boxes as we source from different suppliers to provide you the best overall product assortment.

Accuracy - We strive for 100% accuracy, but sometimes limited quantities may prevent us from shipping the quantity you ordered. This is rare. In that event we will charge only for what we shipped. We do not backorder.


We guarantee your satisfaction.

If any of our products fail to meet your expectations, simply return it within 60 days of receipt for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

Please be sure item(s) are in new and unused condition. If you wish to return an item, click here, or login to your account, view the order using the "Completed Orders" link under the Manage My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We will contact you promptly via email.

Please keep in mind your items may have been sent from multiple locations. Refer to your packing slip for accurate information on where to ship the items you wish to return. At this time, we are unable to process exchanges on online orders, or return orders placed on at a Flax retail store.

You should expect to receive your refund within two-three weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in most cases you will receive a refund more quickly. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Returns processing period includes:

transit time for us to receive your return (5 to 7 business days)
processing your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days)
process of refund request to your bank (5 to 7 business days)
