Liquitex Iridescent Medium is a fluid, transparent medium designed to make any acrylic color iridescent, while allowing the artist to control the intensity. Mix the medium with small amounts of color, gradually adding more until the desired iridescent quality or transparency is achieved. Transparent and translucent colors work best.
Upon drying, colors will increase in their iridescent quality and become much more reflective. To create a mother of pearl color, simply use the medium directly from the container.
