Daniel Smith Masking Fluid is easy to use with the bottle applicator, the included 5 fine-point applicator tips or with a disposable brush. The medium makes an impervious barrier to protect watercolor paper and preserve sections of white by blocking watercolor washes from flowing into them. It allows for crisp, clean edges.
The fluid applies as an off-white color and dries to a transparent caramel color so that it can be easily seen yet still be unobtrusive while work is being done. It is easy to remove with a rubber cement pick-up or even with clean fingers. Once the masking fluid has been removed, the white areas can be kept as is or painted upon.
1 oz. bottle with 5 applicator tips.
