Use Liquitex Gesso to seal, prime and add tooth (for color adhesion) to all surfaces such as canvas, wood, paper and metal. This gesso is non-yellowing, flexible and non-cracking. On most supports it will take just one, undiluted coat to effectively prime and prepare for either acrylic or oil paint. Liquitex Neutral Gray Colored Gesso is a quick and effective pre-mixed alternative to tinting clear gesso with paint. Priming a surface in neutral gray eliminates the starkness of white and provides a strong contrast.
