Use Liquitex Gesso to seal, prime and add tooth (for color adhesion) to all surfaces such as canvas, wood, paper and metal. This gesso is non-yellowing, flexible and non-cracking. On most supports it will take just one, undiluted coat to effectively prime and prepare for either acrylic or oil paint. All Liquitex gessos have excellent adhesion and are fluid, matte and opaque (except the transparent clear), for easy coverage.
Liquitex Black gessos is a quick and effective pre-mixed alternative to tinting clear gesso with paint. Priming a surface in black eliminates the starkness of white and provides a strong contrast.
