Liquid Sumi ink is made from the same high-quality vegetable oil soot as Sumi sticks, except in a convenient liquid and bottle form that eliminates the need for grinding ink sticks. Dries to slight sheen and absorbs into paper slightly. This ink's water-resistance allows for unique glazing capabilities. Use this specially formulated, permanent black ink to create beautiful sumi paintings and calligraphy.
