Paperblanks' Natsu design shows a section of a paper screen with various types of blooms often believed to follow the ancient Japanese language of flowers. These intricate details of spring and summer flowers are from an 18th-century Japanese paper screen by artist Watanabe Shikō (1683–1755), who painted in the Rinpa style. Beautiful gold accents make up every intricacy of the leaves and flowers in this rich and romantic composition.

This is an eco-friendly, hardcover journal made with 100% recycled binder board and acid-free, 120gsm sustainable forest paper. It features Smyth sewn binding, an accordion-style memento pouch that stores your loose papers, a satin ribbon marker, and an magnetic wrap closure. The back endpaper contains information about the fascinating historical background for the original artwork.

Ultra size 7" x 9", 144 lined pages with gilt edges.
