Silverpoint/Drawing Ground, 8 oz

Silverpoint/Drawing Ground is formulated with 100% acrylic with high levels of titanium dioxide to prepare surfaces to readily accept marks from a metal stylus. It can be brush or spray applied to paper, primed canvas, wood or any surface that will accept a water-based coating. The most common substrate for metal point drawing is heavy weight hot pressed watercolor paper. A single coat of Silverpoint provides a smooth, durable surface, ideal for use with a silverpoint stylus or other metals, such as brass, gold, copper, or even a steel paperclip.
