Liquitex Gloss Gel Medium increases gloss, extends volume, thickens, and extends open time of acrylic paint. It has the same body and viscosity of heavy body acrylic paint and it dries clear to translucent depending on the thickness of application. This medium can also be used as a glue and for bonding images for collage or decoupage, and as a transparent ground for acrylic paint instead of gesso to allow the painting surface to be seen.
Bio-Based mediums use 50% renewable ingredients like corn, soy, sugarcane and algae instead of pertroleum.
