Poppyseed Oil is a slow-drying medium for oil paints that has excellent color retention. It improves flow but, unlike Linseed Oil, it has no yellow tint that risks being visible through certain thinned paints.
This medium is ideal for the artist painting with pale colors and working with light hue variations. It is the perfect choice for when transparent glazes of color is desired.
