Galkyd Lite Painting Medium is made from alkyd resin and designed to thin oil colors and retain brushstrokes. This medium sets itself apart from Galkyd by containing a lower viscosity - similar to damar, refined linseed oil, or turpentine.
Galkyd Lite tends to be more fluid and less glossy than standard Galkyd, able to leave brush strokes in thicker layers with a working time of approximately three hours. Thin layers can be ready to touch in 24 - 30 hours. Ready to use, this medium is fantastic for landscape painters.
