    Stretcher bars

    I purchased recently 4 stretcher bars. The assembly is amazingly simple. The frame is very solid and the finish very professional.

    Best heavy duty stretcher bars workmanship is less than I expected.

    The wood is nicely dried and straight but the fit is much too tight. At least one of joints cracked slightly while putting them together. The front surfaces are uneven at the joints of the bars which will require additional sanding before stretching the canvas.
