For all those who tote around an iPhone and a journal, now your analog and digital worlds can converge. Introducing the Moleskine Evernote and Whitelines Link, two digital journals. Here’s how they work:
Moleskine Evernote
Hard bound with elastic closure and ribbon marker, the Moleskine Evernote is designed for the popular Evernote app. Take a picture of your sketches and notes and they become part of your digital library. With the Evernote app’s text-recognition, typed or clearly printed words are searchable. The Evernote notebook includes Smart Stickers that apply digital tags for searching or organizing your information, and an activation code for a three month subscription for Evernote Premium ($15 value). Available in two sizes and two paper types.
3.5×5.5, 192 pages, ruled or graph paper - $24.95
5×8.25, 240 pages, ruled or graph paper - $29.95
Whitelines Link
We’ve written about Whitelines before, and the magic again is that your image is tranferred into a digital format with a perfectly clean white background – no lines. For artists, Whitelines presents an ideal solution for copying and sharing your work. Whitelines Linkhas its own app, a very simple version compared to Evernote, yet adequate with a filing system based upon assigning labels. The app also allows for feeding images into Dropbox or Evernote. The spiral bound notebooks each hold 140 pages.
