From Winsor & Newton, these Classic Stretched Canvases are 100% cotton with a medium texture, prepared for high performance with a titanium dioxide gesso primer and a finished weight of 12.3 oz. Stretched to perfection by hand, each canvas is back-stapled with expertly tailored corners and includes wood keys for manual re-tensioning. Built to last, the stretcher bars are kiln-dried for warp resistance. The wood used is Spruce, a fast growing sustainable species that ensures a strong wood frame and lighter weight. The canvases have a 3/4" deep profile and are ready for all oil and acrylic paints.
