Claybord’s multi-media surface can take just about anything, from pencil, pen, acrylic, watercolor and ink to oils and photo transfer. The mineral-coated, acid-free surface is easily manipulated, erased, and reworked - it even allows for a scratching technique to add contrast, texture and fine details. Its coating is a very smooth absorbent kaolin clay ground applied to a 1/8" thick hardboard panel creating a museum quality substrate.
