Mounted Linoleum Blocks are printmaking blocks with an easy-to-carve linoleum surface affixed to a wooden block. The superior quality material offers a fine, flat surface that will reproduce sharp and clear artwork without gaps or hollows. The linoleum provides a cutting depth of 1/8" and is suitable for use with any water-soluble or oil-based relief ink. The wood block is premium 3/4" MDF board.
Images can easily be transferred to the linoleum surface by taking a laser print or a photo copy of the image, placing it face down on the block and using a blender marker such as the AD Blender Marker on the back of the print to transfer the image.
Small linoleum blocks can be used as stamps and are easy to print with rubber stamp pads and block printing ink.
