The Sailor Hocoro Dip Pens are a versatile writing instrument designed for no fuss use of a variety of inks with easy clean up. An alternative to a fountain pen which requires cleaning and a commitment to an ink color for a period time, the Hocoro comes with only a nib and no feed mechanism. To change colors simply rinse the nib with water, wipe clean and dip.
Pen styles available in Fine and Medium for everyday writing, 1.0 and 2.0 calligraphy stub nibs, and a fude brush-style nib.
The 2.0mm calligraphy and fude nibs have broader tips, so those pens include an ink reservoir that sits behind the nib to extend the writing time.
* They feature a storage function for the nib inside the barrel that protects the nib when carrying or storing. Upon first use out of the package, pull/twist the colored ring from the barrel to reveal the attached nib.
