Karst Stone Softcover Sketch Pads feature 40 blank, micro-perforated pages made from tree-free stone paper. It is suitable for wet and dry mediums, waterproof & tear-resistant, and there's no bleed-through of ink through paper. The paper is made of 80-90% crushed stone (calcium carbonate) and 10-20% non-toxic resin, which acts as a binder. The result is a paper that is extremely smooth and non-absorbent, which makes for particularly interesting techniques with watercolor.
