As an artist Max Ehrman (aka Eon75) has been painting for over 15 years. Through graffiti, Eon75 has traveled and created murals all throughout Europe and North American. His canvases have been collected world wide from North America to Europe and Asia. Once a year the artist travels to Europe to paint with friends at several Graffiti/Hip Hop jams in Germany, Holland and Belgium. Through Eon75′s travels he has been lucky enough to paint with some of the most talented Aerosol Artists in the world. In 2010 Max was a chosen artist for the pilot round of San Francisco’s StreetSmARTS program.
Max was drawn into graffiti purely for its style:
“I was going to school at the University of Florida and they have a mile long wall that anybody can paint. And always I saw art on the legal wall but nothing too special. Then one day a group of German artists came through and produced a high quality, conceptual wall that I had never seen before. The design and layout was well thought out as well as the color palette. Since I was in school for architecture, I was amazed to see this combination of art and a rigid design combined. I had never picked up a spray can before, but I went and bought some cans at Wal-Mart and went to the wall to paint. I have not stopped painting since. It is now my life and my love.”
Max’s first live painting experience was October 23, 2010, when he created Butterfly Study above. He painted our front exterior wall in March, 2011, and then again in December, 2011, when applyed some photorealism with a spray can! (below)
