Michael Capozzola is a Bay Area Based stand up comedian and a published cartoonist. Engaging, smart and funny, we always welcome Mike and this will be his fifth appearance at Flax as a Live Artist!

He’s contributed to The San Francisco Chronicle, The Bay Guardian, The Pacific Sun, The Bold Italic, TED Talks, The Humor Times, National Lampoon, McSweeney’s and Mad Magazine.

His cartoon, “Surveillance Caricatures” ran for four years in the San Francisco Chronicle and he’s contributed over 40 premises to the award-winning, nationally syndicated cartoon, “BIZARRO.”

He volunteers regularly as guest cartoonist as 826 Valencia and has been Cartoonist-in-Residence locally at the Cartoon Art Museum and The Charles M. Schulz Museum.
