Live Art with Julie Marsh

Julie Marsh, a mixed media artist from the San Francisco Bay Area and a member of SanFrancisco Women Artists. our current exhibit feature, will be here on Saturday to inspire and delight working in mixed media. She has studied painting for many years with a variety of teachers. Her earlier work focused on “the extraordinary ordinary”.
Julie sees mixed media as a doorway to explore the creative process transforming old, ordinary, and discarded materials into something new and vibrant. Julie mixes different media with acrylics, and these works reimagine and repurpose torn paper, cardboard, cheesecloth, and old photos into meditations on the cycle of decay, transformation, and rebirth. Her artwork has been exhibited at a wide range of venues from San Francisco Women Artists Gallery, Bayview Boat House, Sweet Sanctum, Farley’s Coffee House, the Marin Jewish Community Center to The Barber Lounge Fall Art Exhibit Group Show.
