Live Art with Alicia Rockafellow

An artist who emphasizes surreal-style painting and drawing. She works mostly with acrylic, graphite and pencils, but uses many different mediums depending on the mood and feel she wants. Originally from Sonoma, Alicia is attending the Academy of Art and discovered Flax and our Live Artist program on Facebook.

“I am an artist. I paint, draw, create, photograph, travel, see, experiment, breathe, write, and live. I love looking at people, noticing things about them, breaking them apart, and putting them back together – Alicia style. That’s why I’m an artist.”

Alicia works with any suggestions and inspirations, including music, poetry, phrases, and can bring an inanimate object, or abstract feeling, to visual life.
