Cretacolor MegaGraphite Pencils are jumbo graphite pencils with a 5.8mm lead, about twice the norm. The 10mm thick hexagonal barrel is comfortable in the hand, and they are ideal for expressive work and long sessions. The leads sharpen to a fine point for crisp detail lines, or apply at an angle to use the large exposed lead for smooth, broad strokes and background shading. The lead is glued down the entire length of the cedar casing, providing high break resistance.
