SAI Watercolor Brush Pens combine sumi-e style painting with the functionality of a modern brush pen. By adjusting the amount of pressure applied, you can draw fine lines to bold strokes. These Japanese fude style brush pens were the first to be soluble in water. When blended with water these brush pens can create a beautiful range of shading and watercolor effects. Simply wet the brush tip with water to thin out the ink or use with a water brush to create natural contrast and gradation. SAI brushes work wonderfully with pencils, water-resistant art markers or pens to color in the outlines for your cartoon, manga art, etc. Colors can be also combined with other colors on a palette to create your own new colors.
