Dry Pigments

Dry pigments have traditionally been used as a colorant in artist paint. To create an artist oil color they are mixed with a binding agent such as linseed oil. In addition to making paint, dry pigments such as Pearl Ex Powdered Pigments can be combined with a wide array of mediums such as acrylics, oils, printing inks, and alcohol inks to give a metallic or pearlescent effect. They can even be mixed with a high flow acrylic in a paint pen or gum arabic for a DIY metallic calligraphy ink!
