The "Blackthorn" pattern was designed by textile artist William Morris in 1892 as a block-printed wallpaper design. Morris strongly influenced the Arts and Crafts Movement of the 19th century. This image features a pretty meadow of flowers overlain with the white blossoms of hedge blackthorn.
