2017 Alameda Summer Art & Maker Fair

Free Outdoor Art Festival, Sunday June 25th!

Come see over 65 local Alameda and Bay Area artists at this free Outdoor Art Festival. Mingle with local emerging and established artists creating unique artwork during the fair! See live painting, sketching, sculpting and illustration.

With everything from comic book art to clothing and jewelry, to metal sculpture, there is something for everyone. Come support the local artists that make the Bay Area such a dynamic and creative place to live.

Over 30 live art demos, over 20 artists in Studio 23’s “100 UNDER 100” group show. Open Studios, including “The Red Door On Encinal”, “3 DOT! And Studio 23. There will be music and festivities all afternoon. The festival will take place in the lot of Studio 23 Gallery at 2309 Encinal Ave between Park Street and Oak in Alameda. Friendly Lord Zondar, the giant metal robot, will be perched on the roof overlooking the crowd. Make sure you come by and get a photo.


The fair is held in the lot of Studio 23 located at 2309 Encinal Ave. in downtown Alameda between Park and Oak st. (next to Lucky 13.)


All parking meters are free on Sunday. There is free public parking on the street as well two additional lots within a 2 block radius. The Alameda Theater parking structure is 1.5 blocks away up Oak street at Central. There is also an additional lot on Alameda Ave between Oak and Park.

You can take the 51A Bus (Rockridge/Alameda) from the Fruitvale Bart station. Get off on the Santa Clara and Park stop, we are 2.5 blocks south (take Park towards the Bay, cross Central and Alameda, turn right on Encinal, walk .5 block and you will see the fair. The number 20 bus also stops at Park street and Encinal and travels into downtown Oakland to the 12th street City Center Bart Stop near Lake Merrit.
