Bring some artistic inspiration to your Christmas tree with a Bob Ross Ornament. Handmade in glass by Cody Foster, it measures 4.5"high.
Ross created and hosted The Joy of Painting, which ran from 1983 to 1994. During the 30-minute show he would instruct viewers on the quick "wet-on-wet" technique and paint a scene fresh from his imagination, in real time. He explained his limited paint palette and deconstructed the process into simple steps. He had a calming demeanor like Mister Rogers, and made quirky statements like "let's add some happy little trees", all of which has endeared him into popular culture even 25 years after his death. He repeatedly said everyone had inherent artistic talent and could become an accomplished artist given time, practice and encouragement, and famously said, "we don't make mistakes; we just have happy accidents."
