Stonex Pottery Clay

This white, non-toxic modeling clay comes prepared in moist form and ready to use for all methods. When the self-hardening clay is dry in its desired form, the finished pieces are very durable and can be decorated with mediums ranging from metallic finishes to tempera and acrylic paints and liquid crayons. Stonex clay is not waterproof and it can be a good idea to use shellac or varnish to seal a piece and make it water resistant. It will also shrink during drying and should never be modeled over a rigid form or armature. Stonex clay is a great match with all methods of modeling including sculpting, coiling, pinching, slabwork, and wheel throwing. Made in the U.S.A.
