The Museum of Craft & Design hosted one of their MakeArt classes in the store
Looking back on 2011 makes me proud. We set out to build bridges within our community and we accomplished more than expected.
With this website launching last March we had a new way of sharing and presenting all the activities. That set the tone, and here’s our year by numbers:
1 awesome Kidsfest. Next year’s theme is Super Heroes!
2 special Pen Faires with a constantly evolving range of wonderful writing instruments.
4 sponsorships. We’re pleased to have established relationships with the Exploratorium, Contemporary Jewish Museum, San Francisco Recreation & Parks and the San Francisco Museum of Craft & Design.
12 in-store Exhibits featuring fantastic works from young and old, beginners and professionals, all with something special to say through art.
23 Workshops, from the basics of aerosol art (on our back parking lot wall) to the nuances of fine art in oil, watercolor and more.
34 Live Artists, representing every corner of the City. I love this program.
103 local links built into our Resources page for artists and art enthusiasts.
1,494 new Facebook “likes”. Our Facebook family is nearing 4,000!
144,000 (and counting) customers graced our store.

We look forward to 2012 where we will continue to forge the power of community and collaboration, and of course, bring you the finest materials for mastering your own brand of creativity.
Thank you, and Happy New Year!
