More New Stylish Fountain Pens

by Estela Fuentes on December 16, 2011

Our Fine Pen assortment keeps growing! We have recently added three new brands to our selection; Sailor, Kaweco and Aurora.

Sailor — when the company is mentioned among pen enthusiasts the first thing they think about is the company’s nibs. Inspected individually by Master nib designer Nobuyoshi Nagahara, who’s been in the pen business for over 60 years, their unique styles and abilities will enchant you. We are currently stocking the Pro Gear Lamé. This is one of their basic line fountain pens. It has an 18kt medium-fine point gold nib, which is very fine like most Japanese pens.

Kaweco — in business since the 1883, the German pen maker wants you to be inspired with an old favorite. Their current pens are modeled after their vintage pens with the added advantage that these pens will take a cartridge. The pens are made of different materials in a variety of price points. Currently available in medium points, the steel nib is not only soft and smooth; they also have flexibility to them. If you like small pens these are great with prices starting at around $28.

Aurora — Italian pens that bring together modern and classic designs with amazing colors that catch the eye. The company was even featured in the Science Channel’s television series “How It’s Made” in 2009. We currently stock the Ipsilon and the Style.

Ipsilon — available as Fountain Pen, Rollerball or Ballpoint, this model has a tapered top to give it a rounded look that lets the pen fit snugly in your hand. The pen is made from resin, making it lightweight and easy to hold. With convenience being a priority, the ballpoint has a click top mechanism for easy one-hand use; the rollerball and fountain pen have pull off caps. It is a favorite among many pen aficionados.

Style — with an oblique cut at the top and the graceful lines of the clip, the Style pen has lots of personality. It is available with a resin barrel and a chrome cap or in all chrome. The ballpoint has a click top mechanism and the rollerball and fountain pens have pull off caps.

We are also carrying a few new lines by Taccia, Conklin and Sheaffer; stop by and let us set you up with everything you need for all your fine writing needs.
