We are pleased to announce the release of our second FLAX t-shirt in our artist signature series. San Francisco artist Chiyo Miyashita found her way into our hearts when she visited us in our Live Artist program earlier this year. Her San Francisco Village series captivated out attention and provided the inspiration behind this artwork. We have men’s and women’s t-shirt styles in all sizes, priced at only $15.00.
Our first edition FLAX t-shirts were released in January, 2011. The original inspiration came from artwork by local artist Michael Rios (best known for his work with Carlos Santana), then we mixed it up with local graphic designer James Cha, and out came one cool tee. Uniquely Flax, uniquely San Francisco (including Mannie adorned in tie-dye), and reminiscent of the old Fillmore posters. A few short sleeve tees remain at $19.95, or black men’s long sleeve for $24.95.
